How to make Openoffice the default Office application in XFCE

Dear all,

I installed Xfce on top of Ubuntu server 8.04 and later few applications like Openoffice and VLC player.
But, whenever i open any .doc or .odt files, Abiword comes up. How can i make Openoffice as the default office application.

I know i can uninstall or remove Abiword, but i dont want to do that. I want to know the configuration file to change these settings.

Thanks,
Avinash

Try right clicking at the document -> 'properties' -> 'open with'. Should set default application to what you want.
