Re: context menu desktop

Right click on xfce menu button in the panel and select "Edit Menu" and follow the directions.  Be sure to save your changes before exiting.  Or you can edit the menu file directly in the Mousepad text editor.  The main desktop menu file is /home/'user'/.config/xfce4/desktop/menu.xml.  Good Luck. On the desktop? You can start thunar, make a new custom action, select in appearance conditions directory and then on destkop mouse right click, it should appear.
