Hi there!
Yesterday I tried out a combination of X + OpenBox + PyPanel. It looks very nice but it's not usable like a Xfce desktop. So I changed back my ~/.xinitrc file to start Xfce.
But now some of the tray icons have a blue background and I don't know how to remove this.
Here's a picture of my tray:
Any ideas?

I don't recall if it follows GTK Theme colors or not, maybe something wrote to ~/.gtkrc*? Tried switching themes etc?

Yep. Under Openbox I changed a the icon theme and after changing back to Xfce I deleted the ~/.gtkrc-2.0 file because Xfce hat problems with the style. There is still no new .gtkrc-2.0 file. What can I do now?
Thanks

hrm, was hoping that was it tried switching themes back and fourth? (icon, gtk themes)

Yup, I did. Perhaps I should try to change the style with gtk-theme-switch2?

That'll just switch the theme and write it to ~/.gtkrc-2.0 iirc, you could try but I don't think it'll help. Hopefully someone else chimes in

Apparently you've tried to do everything. If you already deleted the file ~ /. Gtkrc-2.0 and did not work, try removing the tray from the panel and re-add. If this fails, then install some engines such as murrine, clearlooks, etc. gtk themes.
If none of that works, then reinstall the panel and xfce4-goodies.

Hmmm... Nothing changed... But it's okay. When I backup my configurations, I'll try to delete every file in my home folder. We'll see if it works.
See you!

Yeah, I did it! I fixed it by reinstalling all packages – the Arch way: pacman -S $(pacman -Qq). Now it works!
Thanks for your help!
