How to make a application invisible in xfce4-panel

hi all:
   i have a question to ask for advice!
   we know xfce4-panel control the panel at the screen bottom.and tasklist is a plugin of xfce4-panel.tasklist can show all applictions which are running.and my question is :
    if i want to make a application(e.g. firefox) invisible in tasklist ,but other applications still visible in tasklit.how can i do that?
    please give any suggestions!

Try something like devilspie, it can set Window Manager Hints.  http://wiki.foosel.net/linux/devilspie
