looking for network...

So I have used XFCE for several years now with xubuntu and vector.  I used gnome and KDE too but XFCE is my favourite.  But... I have several computers and I want to be able to see the other computers on my network.  I have recently switched to ubuntu to make this easier, I can go to the start menu then places and network... and there they are.  So, how can I do this with XFCE?

Re: looking for network...

In a terminal:
smbtree will show you the available shares
smbmount will let you mount them

You can optionally check out Gigolo, its a frontend to easily manage connections to remote filesystems using GIO/GVfs.  You can check more @ http://www.uvena.de/gigolo/
