"Loading desktop settings" font effects

Hello Everybody,

I'm developing an application sued Gtk. I'm interested in reproduce the font effect that appears in the text "Loading desktop setting", while opening the session. The font effect consists in a white shadow to the text that provides a 3D like view.

This happens in a system with:
Xfce 4.4.2
Gtk: 2.12.9
Pango: 1.20.3
Cairo: 1.6.4
