xfce weather and mailwatch panel's plugins

hi everybody there..

I would like to ask a question about the plugins I specify in the subject of this thread.
To be clear, I'll go with order..

1. weather plugin
I've noticed that using some gtk theme that use images for the panel (pixbuf style) make the background of this plugin really ugly!, very far from the rest of the theme. So I would like to know if there's a way to modify its appearance.. there must be a file that control that!

2. mailwatch plugin
I've some problem with downloading email for account of @email.it provider: I've setted all the options a lot of times, all is well done.. but it can't really work for those account! Someone know if there's an incompatibility with some provider?
Second question about this plugin: I've noticed that there's a file in the configuration directory under my home where password for my email account are clearly visible.. there's no cryptography!!!! How is this possible? I don't think it's an intelligent things: privacy and security are a must, for a linux developer.. But maybe this is a fact to describe somewhere else, isn't it?
