Default Posting and Reply Forms

Is it possible to make the system more goof-proof by designing the forms with pulldown choice fields for Xfce version number, distro name and version, as well as areas for other required information?  Surely making requirements for things in areas people overlook is asking for failure.

Thanks.

KitchM,

I'll poke around the settings but things are already pretty 'goof proof', the way I usually browse the forum is just by unread posts since last visit (http://forum.xfce.org/index.php?action=unread), makes it much easier smile

Well, I thought the idea of feeling the need to give instructions to users about what to include in one's questions in and of itself showed that it was not properly automated in at least those aspects.  Else, why give instructions? :-|
