fed12 & vnc & Xfce's no login screen

i installed fedora12 with Xfce (no gnome or kde). it runs fine when at it's terminal. but when i try to remote login via vnc client i get no login window just the background screen with no panels, taskbar or anything.

the login window works fine from the machine it is installed on.

did i forget a xfce app for remote login or something when installing?

Re: fed12 & vnc & Xfce's no login screen

never mind. i fixed it.

0)  unset the session manager
1)  removed tests/execution of .xinitrc and /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc

dunno, don't recall having to do that on another fedora12 "guest" os.
