customize desktop pager

I prefer to have a single panel horizontal on the left hand side and would like to have a single column of "desktops", perhaps four.  The current desktop pager has one row two columns wide.  Can I customize this, and, if so, how?

thanks,

Re: customize desktop pager

Hi, thufir.

Did you mean a single *vertical* panel? If you right-click on your panel, choose Add New Items and select Workspace Switcher, this plug-in has a Number of columns option in its Properties, and you can have a 1-column vertical stack of all your workspaces.

If you meant *horizontal* panel, the same thing applies, but this time the Properties choice is number of rows of workspaces.

Re: customize desktop pager

pardon both on meaning vertical and writing horizontal, and on the fact that this problem was with lxde and not xfce.

Ahem, pardon.
