Brasero not working at all with 10.10

Brasero works fine with 8.04 and 9.10 but with my 10.10 machine
it opens the initial menus but one you click [Create Image] or
or any other action the program simply shuts down.

Brasero is elegant for backing up discs and with 10.10 at what
seems to beyond Beta I was hoping this would work.

I don't have that issue on 10.10.
Can you start brasero from a terminal and post the error?

Besides, this has nothing to do with xfce here.
