multi-monitor and panel

Hi,

I am currently running XFCE with Panel 4.7.4 in a three monitor set up across 2 video cards on Gentoo Linux (64bit) with an AMD Athlon 64bit processor.

One card drives my wide-screen monitor (screen 0, center) and the second card drives the two side monitors (screens 1 and 2). This is NOT an SLI set up. (The video cards are both Nvidia cards.)

My problem is that I can not place a panel on screen 1. I can place panels on screen 0 and 2 without any problems. When I set the panel for screen 1 it disappears. If I restart X, xfce4-panel never starts (complaining that it can't find the window id for the panel that is supposed to be on screen 1) and I have to use the Settings Editor to get rid of the panel on screen 1 before I can start the panel program.

I have reset all of my settings by removing the ~/.config, ~/.cache and ~/.local and I am still having the same problem.

Has anyone any idea on how I can fix this?

Re: multi-monitor and panel

Hello,

You should file a bug on http://bugzilla.xfce.org. The forum mustn't be used for bug reporting.

Thanks in advance,
