I'm using Linux Mint 9 Xfce. Xfce 4.6 and Xfce4's desktop added to Kubuntu 10.04.
I've noticed that unless I use the default Xfce rat* or the Linux Mint logo as the Xfce menu's icon, part of it will get chopped off. If the 'Menu' label is omitted even more of the icon is chopped off. What is it about these two exceptions that stops them being cut up? I've tried different panel sizes and different font sizes, logging out and back in and restarting but still find this symptom.
Basically I'm trying to replace the Xfce rat with the Ubuntu logo which I copied from an Ubuntu live CD.
A minor issue but I find Xfce otherwise crisp and lovely...
Thanks.

Icon sizing is broken in the 4.6 menu plugin, will be fixed in 4.8.
