xfce-applications.menu doesn't exist

It seems in upgrading to XFCE 4.8, from 4.6, I have lost my xfce-applications.menu. Which I know I should have read up on the update process and made a backup, but it's too late now. How do I generate xfce-applications.menu? I have garcon installed and I am using Archlinux (I may have installed via pacman rather than my normal tarball style seeing as its spring semester)
