window buttons - icon overlap :-(

Hi,
I have a problem with new xfce 4.8 panel, to be specific with the window buttons plugin.
In xfce 4.6 I used in my panel icon box | tasklist - in the icon box i used to have all running non minimalized apps and in the tasklist all running windows from current Desktop.
As I'm not using any grouping when I had lot of windows open then the tasklist shrinked each window to fit in ... so the result was I had visible all icons for running application in iconbox and in the tasklist shrinked windows for running applications. So this was OK as I can click fast the Icon in icon box or search through tasklist.

Now to my problem in XFCE 4.8 as icon box & tasklist are now merged in one plugin window buttons, my panel looks like this: window buttons (substitute for iconbox) | window buttons (substitute for tasklist) - but now when I open lot of windows the icons from window buttons ( substitute for iconbox) overlaps and window buttons (substitute for tasklist) doesn't shrink each window to fit... 

So my question is is this a bug or have I set up something wrong ?
