shutdown and reboot faulire

Dear Support and Application users,

openSUSE 11.3 x32
Xfce 4.8.0

I click to shutdown or reboot  botton I get error message "Authorized required" after get login screen again.

Maybe the problem cause org.freedestop. rule(s) but
I didn't find policies and anything-settings to cause the problem.
I don't understand where can I find the problem source.

Could somebody help me ?

Thank You.

A.

Re: shutdown and reboot faulire

You can install polkit-gnome, which is a user-friendly GUI to modify permissions for rebooting, mounting USBs, accessing devices, and all of that good stuff. Just grant your user permission to do certain things, like shutting down the system.

Polkit-gnome can be started from the terminal.
