I want ALSA not PULSE. Any way?

Hi all.
I think I've finally found my right desktop environment. That's XFCE.
I'm testing it in Xubuntu 10.10 + koshi's PPA for v4.8.
I'd like not to use pulse audio but rather ALSA as the sound system.
Is there any way to do this?

Thanks.

Hi,

It's not related to Xfce. Your system sound depends of gstreamer, you should look at which bakend it used.

Thanks a lot.
I'm a little bit new to this "multimedia" world!
I'll make some tests and then will see.
