Jedit repaint issue

Hi,

I've found this one quite difficult to google answers for, so I'm just seeing if anyone here can shed light.  I would think not an XFCE issue to be fair.

Jedit (I haven't tried any other swing applications) has an issue repainting.

I am running fglrx 2:8.780-0ubuntu2 on Ubuntu 10.10 server and Jedit 4.3.2+dfsg-3

Any chance someone has a tip for where to start with this?

I have solved this issue by going to the PPA x-swat repositories and using the included latest ATI driver.
