The Future

So with Xfce's new release and the Xfce e.V. launched, what are the plans for the future? Both technical and non-technical. Are we planning to use GTK3 or any future releases of GTK, move to another toolkit, how will Gnome3 affect us, and any predicted forecasts for the future? I am not complaining or anything I am genuinely interested in what the plans for Xfce's future are.

Re: The Future

The foundation is not officially launched yet, lot of paperwork to do and the roadmap for 4.10 was announced a while ago.

Re: The Future

Thanks Nick smile Thanks for the link to the road map, I was pretty sure I had seen one but couldn't recall where.  But I am glad to hear this from a developer I saw the picture of you guys after the meeting to set up Xfce e.V. unfortunately I am in the U.S. and can't help you guys out with the legal matters without a lengthy flight...
