hello
i run aptosid xfce on a dell x300 laptop
until recently i had no problems
i've encountered the following issues wich may not be solved by now (even after dist upgrade)
1/ after bootup the usb mouse do not works : i have to unplug it, replug and this gets it recognised and working
2/ each time i boot up the desktop shows a message about a lost selection in the notification area
3/ various graphical "artifacts" on windows (scratched borders, lines of text missdisplayed...) not too handicaping but uggly
4/sudden freezes of system (had to reboot)

2. you either have 2 different panel applications running or 2 notification area's in your panel.
Al the other: broken system and unrelated to Xfce.
