Parole won't play

Hi. I usually use Mplayer but thought I'd give Parole a try.

It starts up, I choose files but then nothing plays. When I start it from the terminal and try to play a file I get

TagLib: MPEG::Header::parse() -- Invalid sample rate.
TagLib: MPEG::Header::parse() -- Invalid sample rate.
TagLib: MPEG::Header::parse() -- Invalid sample rate.

Ideas? Thanks.

I'm not sure the TagLib error messages are all that important. Are you sure you've got all the gstreamer-plugins-good/bad/ugly installed?

I've also found Parole will fail if Xv isn't available but if that were the case, you should be getting an error dialogue popping up.
