[Solved] Editing mime types with xubuntu/xfce?

KDE / gnome both come with some built in UI support that allows the user
to define/modify the mime settings. With xfce / thunar; the only thing
I can find is to change the "open with" setting.

(example description here:  http://kudos.berlios.de/kf/kisimlar/tip … #filetypes )

So, I am wondering: is there any UI within xfce that enables something alike?

Hello,

There is no such UI yet, but is part of the release goals for Xfce 4.10.

Cheers,

Jérôme

Ok, what would be the "next" best thing then? I dont want to pull in the
whole gnome/nautilus stuff just to edit mime files ... so, is there a some
kind of application I could use?
