Gnome App Themes in XFCE

Hey All,

I've been playing around trying to get XFCE to look pretty but I've hit a stumbling block.

All the apps that gnome seem to like using (evolution, nautilus, etc..) don't appear to be honouring my appearance settings that I've set in XFCE.

The buttons don't have the same theme and also the menu bar isn't coloured correclty in the gnome app.

The theme is located in /usr/share/themes/ and it works in gnome quite fine.

Is there some other file that I need to update in order to sort this out?

For instance Thunar vs. Nautilus:

Re: Gnome App Themes in XFCE

gtk3 applications won't look right unless you have a theme installed that supports both gtk2 and gtk3. The only gtk3 theme officially released is Adwaita, but for some reason they didn't make it look the same in gtk2. (it looks the same as Clearlooks)

Re: Gnome App Themes in XFCE

It will take a lot to properly display applications XFCE4 GTK3?
