The Xfce panel

Whereabouts in the file system are the files for the visual aspects of the actual panel in Xfce 4.8? I see how if you have a top panel with any light enough theme it has a dark pixel as a border, which marks it off nicely from your wallpaper. If you use this panel at the bottom you lose the dark pixel, instead there's a more or less white one at the top. What I'd like to be able to do is switch this around so a bottom panel has a dark pixel at its top. I'm assuming this is not an elaborate pixmap thing and that it is just either a simple tiled image or something set in quite a wordy gtk file somewhere.

Thanks.

Re: The Xfce panel

The border are colors from the gtk theme, drawn like a framebox.
