[Solved] Disable a specific panel

Hi,

I wondered whether it is possible to disable just one panel -- xfce4-panel is running with 3 panels, I'd like to temporarily disable one of them. With "disable" I mean "make completely invisible", so no interaction is possible.

Thanks!

Re: [Solved] Disable a specific panel

xfconf-query -c xfce4-panel -p /panels/panel-0/output-name -t string -n -s "DIE"

I think that does the trick. If you reset the property it will show again.

Thanks Nick! By the way, any random text instead of "DIE" will do. Indeed, once you reset the string (set it to empty), the panel reappears.

Re: [Solved] Disable a specific panel

I know, I just thought DIE was a nice string, normally the string is set to VGA-0 etc.
