Hello
I have been a full time ubuntu user for two years and have changed to xubuntu in the last few days. My system is a little underpowered for Unity and can't use Compiz effects and bored of Gnome. I like the functionally and style of XFCE and xubuntu.

Xfce is great, after awhile you won't use anything but 
Make sure you check http://goodies.xfce.org and http://wiki.xfce.org for other resources.
