Hi,
I use mplayer as my video player. A have asociated Mplayer (cli) as my app for opening video files in Thunar. The mplayer-cli .desktop file includes this line:
Terminal=true
This means, when I doubleclick a video file in thunar a terminal window is opened with mplayer (that is exactly what I want). Problem is, xterm is opened and not xfce4-terminal, even though exo-open --launch TerminalEmulator and x-terminal-emulator runs xfce4-terminal. When I put an launcher to the panel ant check the option Open in terminal, it opens xfce4-terminal again, which makes no sence to me. Is that a bug, or I have missed some settings?
System information: Thunar 1.2.2, Debian testing, acting the same on Fedora 16.
Thanks for help.

Blame GIO.

I've installed gnome-control-center, as GIO comes form GNOME, and set preffered terminal emulator to xfce4-terminal, but it didn't help. Where can I set GIO's default terminal emulator? Thanks for quick reply.

You can't, they hard-coded defaults in the code. See http://git.gnome.org/browse/glib/tree/g … nfo.c#n974. I've suggested a work around in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=592857 but probably nobody cares.
