.Trash-xxxx folders on nfs-Filesystems

I have /var/daten mounted on several Machines. When somone deletes files on this file system with Thunar then Thunar creates a directory .Trash-xxxx (xxxx = numerical uid) and uses it as trash-folder.

How can I prevent this? I don't want Thunar to create .Trash-folders on every file system.

Hello bluebell,

Hopefully Nick will chime in here with some more info if its available, but I know you can "skip" the Trash service when deleting by using SHIFT+DEL vs just DEL button.  Hope that helps atleast some.

GVFS does that and it is indeed annoying, but nothing in Thunar we can do about that.
