I have a nvidia gaming video card and it laughs at any graphics I throw at it. LAUGHS I tell ya!
Until I loaded xfce now when xscreensaver pops up and runs electric sheep it's running 1 fps.
Under icewm it runs about 150 fps. Whats up wid dat??
Plus;
I wanted to install xfce4-volumed but it requires Keybinder which requires that I upgrade Glib, gtk+
GDKPixbuf and other asundry packages that will break everything on my computer.
Is there any other program that I can use to map keys to my volume controls on my keyboard?
Or am I heading back to Icewm?
Thank you too many.

More of the time media keys work out of the box, else you might need to assign them in ~/.Xmodmap.
No idea why nvidia is so slow. If you have compositing enabled you might want to check the "Display fullscreen overlay windows directly" option. Else I don't know.
Never version of gtk2/glib2/gdkpixbuf2 are all api/abi stable, so you can safely update those without breaking existing applications.
