[Solved] Does xfce4-notifyd support python-notify?

Hello, I wanted to know if xfce4-notifyd supports python-notify.

I'm running emesene 2 and I can't see the contact's avatar when there is an on-line notification (or off-line, etc.). I get a notification, but with no pixbuf, which is weird because there are notifications that get a pixbuf. Could be only because other notifications don't use python-notify? Or is it something the emesene 2 team has to fix?

Anyway, thanks for the help.

Regards.

IIRC there was a bug in xfce4-notifyd that is did not show images with full-paths, but that was fixed in 0.2.1.

Hi Nick! Thanks for the response.

I've made a patch for emesene and figured out the problem. The thing, emesene was giving the path to the image with a "file://" in front, so xfce4-notifyd wasn't able to show it. Removing "file://" solved it, however I think notifyd should recognize both path types. What do you think (you're the dev after all big_smile)?

Sorry if my terms weren't technical, I'm not a dev, nor I know how to write software.

Regards.
