Hi to all. I would like to set up shortcuts, but i found that i can't do this. If i press {Modifier (Super_L for example) } + {any letter from keyboard} my hotkey doesn't work. If i use {Mod} + {Numbers, Arrows, Fx or anything else} all work's normal. What's wrong?
Xfce 4.6.2, Debian squeeze.

Do you have autologin ?
I have xfce 4.8.
When using autologin, all shortcut in the form Alt + "alphabet char" work. But all "Alt + &", or "Alt + é", or "Alt + *"
don't work. (weirdely "Alt + _" is ok) I have to relog to get it work.
By killing xfce4-settings-helper : the short cut work again ...

Xfce is NOT Xubuntu. Bugs in Xubuntu don't mean that Xfce is buggy ...

yes, this is a known issue. One other way to do this:
sudo gedit ~/.config/xfce4/autostart.sh
Add this to your autostart.sh file
(sleep 5s && killall xfce4-settings-helper) &

Hm here with Xfce 4.8 under Arch Linux, with xfce4-settings-helper running, my Super+C shortcut works fine. (And with autologin but there are different ways to auto login...)
