How does one set the time delay of inactivity gnome-screensaver should wait before activating under xfce4?

The gnome-screensaver needs gnome-session for this. Damn!!!

Start gnome-session and edit in gconf-editor:
deskop/gnome/session/idle_delay

thanks for the info... I have since discovered compiling xscreensaver with the "--with-login-manager" flag which give me the user switching abilities I needed from gnome screensaver.
