Hi All,

How can I customise the look of my notifications?

I'm running on a netbook and screen space is of an optimum, and the standard notifications are a little large.

Do I need to add this to my theme, or is there a standard config file I can play about with?

I think you can create your own theme. Base it of the default themes.
