Hello from Indiana, USA

Just stopping by to introduce myself and say hello -

I have been using linux since the old days of Redhat 4 and right now run a Fedora 14 system and a Ubuntu VM. I have been in the hardware break/fix field most of my career and find linux to be a fantastic O/S. In fact, I have spent alot of time converting others from windoze to linux. But since the onset of the gnome3/Unity desktop I have been looking for an alternative DE. I think I found it!!

I did try gnome3 and Unity to be fair but found them totally unproductive and a waste of my time. Infact, I call them "Romper Room" DE's. Sorry if I sound a bit bitter but it just seems that they pushed us away for some unknown crowd they are trying to please.

Anyways, I look forward to a long and fruitful experience with Xfce!
