Hi,
Made my transition to Xubuntu 10.04 and XFCE 4.8 this last week. I was reading today, about Window Maker and it's apps, to try to understand how to use them in the WMdock on the panel.
I would like to use them; especially for a dock that can house my different Web-browsers and Web-links, for quick access from the panel. I have only limited knowledge of using command paths to apps and no knowledge of scripting, for use of them.
Is there any XFCE documentation, that speaks to this?
Thanks.

Sorry, I had written Window Manager, when I should have written Window Maker.
Changed in my first post to read Window Maker.
I think I will just have to just start out with trying Window Maker apps with WDdock, to find my way around.
Thanks.

I hear that the Windows Maker project has been dead for 5 years now. I am not going to pursue using it for now.
I'll mark as solved, just so no one will think I am still awaiting an answer.
Thanks.

Actually, Window Maker is still being maintained. I haven't used it in a while though and was never into the dock apps. But if you're interested, there's no reason not to futz around with it and see if you like it.
