Disable Mouse Accel Entirely?

I am using XFCE 4.8 on Ubuntu.
The mouse settings page has a slider for mouse acceleration, but it does not allow me to disable it entirely.  Moving the slider to 1.0 or its minimum value (0.1), still yields significant acceleration.  What can I do?

Thanks.

Re: Disable Mouse Accel Entirely?

What you can try is to manually set the acceleration in the configuration file. I think it is in ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/pointers.xml. Set the value of Acceleration to 0 and relog.

Xfce is NOT Xubuntu. Bugs in Xubuntu don't mean that Xfce is buggy ...
