[Solved] Terminal has no scrollbar

I'm using the xfce4 terminal and am missing the scrollbar.

I've tried different window themes, but that doesn't seem to have an effect (and it shouldn't).

I've tried from the terminal prefs to set to left/right/none and none make a difference.

I checked my .config/Terminal/terminalrc file and there is an entry:

    ScrollingBar=TERMINAL_SCROLLBAR_LEFT

Finally, got my scroll bars back!

It was those stupid overlay scrollbars which just ate into my time looking for the damned things all the time. Turned them off with:

and the regular scrollbar is back in all applications. Funny thing is that in xfce terminal I was never able to find the overlay scroll bar.
