Hi, I'd like to have monochrome icons for xfce weather applet.
Was thinking about manually substituting current ones with monochrome icons...
Started with weather icons from faenza-dark...
But noticed that using icons "almost white", suitable for dark panels, icons are almost not visible in the forecast window...
Is there some workaround?
Maybe I should give up and wait for somebody much more experienced to tweak the source code?

Tried experimenting with monochrome icons from ubuntu-mono, humanity-dark or faenza.
Result is not nice, since the same icon is used for the dark panel and the forecast window.
BTW, I discovered that .svg images may be used, simply renaming them to .png
Probably the only way is to modify applet to load different icons, for example "liquid" should have a subdirectory for panel and a subdirectory for big images...
Posting this reply, as said before, in case someone wants to take a look at the source code... I'm definitely not able to do it, sorry
EDIT:
using ubuntu-mono icons scaled to 70% with inkscape is really good in the panel, and "tolerable" in the forecast window
