GV Font Issue

I've been running gv (postscript display program) for years without problems. Suddenly, after the latest Ubuntu upgrade install (Nov 4/2011) the fonts used in the menu and top information bar in gv has changed to something nearly unreadable. To me it looks like a light face very wide character set.

The funny thing is that if I log into a gnome-classic workspace it shows up as it always did.

So, my thought is that there is a font setting which has changed???

BTW, I did delete my .gv file in my home directory. It didn't make any difference to the menu/info fonts used.

Would love some suggestions as to where to look for this.

Re: GV Font Issue

Looks like a dpi issue.
