xfprint-4.6.1 & CUPS-1.3.9 problem
I compile the xfprint-4.6.1 with "--enable-cups",
and then I run "xfprint-settings", I can't find CUPS in the list(only "null" and "BSD-LPR")
and the log shows:
/usr/lib/xfce4/xfprint-plugins/cups_plugin.so isn't a xfprint printing system module

Xfprint is totally useless nowadays, you should not even bother with it.
