Re: I have problem with xfce

1 - Use a login manager that support Policykit / ConsoleKit : slim, gdm, kdm, ...
2 - Use a login manager that support autologin : slim, gdm, kdm, ...
3 - Configure your screensaver or Xfce powermanager to ask password.

Re: I have problem with xfce

I don't understand your question ...
Anyway, I suggest you to search on the internet about "login manager linux". Once you have choosen your login manager, search for how to install it for your linux distribution.

Re: I have problem with xfce

You should be able to set it up to not require password at startup by going to System, Users and groups, set to not require password at startup.

Re: I have problem with xfce

What Distribution are you using? Everyone seems to package Xfce slightly differently. Your Distro's forums or wiki is probably a better place to look for help on setting up the login manager than Xfce itself (which doesn't directly handle it).
