Assistance Configuring XFCE

First off thanks to the XFCE team. This DE is perfect for my current project and I couldn't ask for anything more. OK on with my question.

XFCE version: 4.6.2
Distro: Fedora 14

I am setting up a server for multi-user purposes.  I want to limit the users to a terminal and firefox. I would be happy to remove the panel completely and provide a couple of shortcuts for the apps needed and a logoff button, or just stripping the menu down to nothing is fine as well since I can see the workspace buttons being handy for these users. My intention is to use active directory authentication with this server and would like to have everything configured for the user automatically on their first login. I have XFCE running in kiosk mode which helped with most of my config goals, I just have these last few items to take care of. Thanks in advance for any help and thanks again for a wonderful DE solution.
