Hello,
I'm new to XFCE, as that's the new UbuntuStudio Oneiric desktop.
I was sharing an .ics calendar between home and work via Dropbox. At home, I was using KDE's Kontact, and at work, Mozilla Sunbird on Windows 7.
Now, I'm on XFCE, trying to use Orage 4.8, but I've a couple problems:
1) My timezone (America/Los_Angeles) is not an option to pick from in Preferences. There is a SYSTEMV/PST8PDT timezone in Globaltime, but not in Orage. When I first started Globaltime, too, it's timezone was set to /etc/localtime, but now I can't find a way to change it back (the little red record button doesn't do anything), nor can I change it to that in Orage. I've tried manually editing the rc files with no luck.
2) The TODOs in the .ics file don't show up in Orage. Because of quirks in Sunbird, my TODOs only have end times, no start times. Could this be why?
Thanks,
-mt

I tried Thunderbird, which seemed like overkill for me, but then I realized the obvious-- Sunbird still runs quite nicely on 11.10!
