CPU frequency panel monitor

I'd like to add this CpuFreq applet to my panel on my Fedora 14 x86_64 computer:

http://goodies.xfce.org/projects/panel- … req-plugin

However, when I right-click on the panel and choose Add New Items the applet does not appear in the list of available applets to install. The above page led me to download it, but it must be compiled. I tried to follow the INSTALL instructions, but it failed for lack of several dependencies, some of which are not available in the Fedora 14 repositories.

Over several years of using Linux about once a year I try to compile a program. So far I have never succeeded, even with an experienced Linux guru looking over my shoulder. Therefore, I am not surprised that I can't install this applet.

Is there an RPM package for it somewhere?
