Hi everyone (that'll be the short presentation)
I have recently installed Linux Mint Debian XFCE, and I have a problem that I can't solve:
When using the keyboard shortcut I have associated to 'Moving windows to *** workspace' (where *** can be upper, bottom, left or right)
I expect:
* that the window that is moved is on top on its new workspace
* Most importantly, that the focus to be kept on the window that is moved
no matter if there are other windows on the final workspace, and even if the mouse is not on the moved window.
What I get:
* The window may get under another window on its new workspace
* Another window may gain focus on the new workspace, even if the mouse was on the old window to begin with.
This is especially annoying when I move a window several workspaces on, which I do often: after the first step, I'm not moving the right window!
Of course, my options include:
* 'Focus follows mouse', with no waiting time
* 'Activate focus stealing prevention'
Are there any options to get this behaviour (without messing with fundamentals like focus on mouse)? By the way, I think that's the usual behaviour; notably that's the one I get with LXDE and Gnome.
(I might not be able to answer before Tuesday, but I will thank you for all your answers in due time.)

So nobody has any idea?

I think it's hard-coded ... You may have better luck by asking in the xfce mailing list.
Xfce is NOT Xubuntu. Bugs in Xubuntu don't mean that Xfce is buggy ...

OK, thanks. I'll try asking on the mailing list.
