starting Thunar at startup (so that automounting happens)

I'm having problems with automounting in XFCE 4.8 (under Fedora 16).

Part of the problem appears to be that nothing can be mounted if Thunar isn't running, and Thunar isn't automatically started as a daemon.

How should I go about having Thunar automatically started as a daemon?  I want this to happen quite early so that devices that are already plugged in at login time are automatically mounted.

Try adding "thunar --daemon" to the autostarted applications.

Re: starting Thunar at startup (so that automounting happens)

This works, but only partially.  It appears that drives that are already plugged in at startup are recognized too early for thunar to grab them under this scheme.

It's probably enough to live with, but a better solution sure would be nice.
