Thunar: Open executable file in text editor?

My first post here. I just switched to Xfce, and I love it. There are only a few things left which I'm trying to get to grips with, one of them is this:

In Nautilus, I could set the default behaviour to open executable files in a text editor when clicked, instead of executing them.
I prefer this because I often edit shell scripts, which I don't want to execute.

Is this also possible with Thunar?
For now, I'm using RMB > Open With > Open With "...", which is not ideal.
