Using CrunchBang 10 ( a squeeze based Debian)
I installed Xfce 4.6 to if via apt-get install xfce4
One submenu is labeled OTHER.. and I want delete some items.
As I search the web I have read various wiki, posts etc as to where and how to edit the Xfce-Menu file BUT..............
in CrunchBang I don't seem to see it at those locations...
as per here for example http://wiki.xfce.org/howto/customize-menu
Where the Heck is the Config???
Thanks.. any help appreciated.

I don't use CrunchBang but you can try to find them with :
find / -name "*.menu"
On OpenSuse, they are in ~/.config/menus and /etc/xdg/menus
Xfce is NOT Xubuntu. Bugs in Xubuntu don't mean that Xfce is buggy ...

Thanks for the reply.
I had already found those menu locations.
Those contain the base menu configs
..Anyhow seems that I have learned the menu unless (otherwise changed manually) initiates itself with info from /usr/share/applications.
seems the Best way to handle the situation is per the Xfce wiki.
The info is HERE
By following the above method I can control the menu contents.
