Is playercontrol-plugin still alive?

http://goodies.xfce.org/projects/panel- … mms-plugin

Get lots of errors while trying to install (use Gentoo), and seems no support. Is it alive or deprecated and another tool is under development?

Re: Is playercontrol-plugin still alive?

Hello..

Test git: http://git.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4 … ol-plugin/
... or xfce4-soundmenu-plugin (http://code.google.com/p/dissonance/downloads). Is more basic, but works with any player compatible with mpris2.

Regards.

Re: Is playercontrol-plugin still alive?

Greetings

Sorry for long silence. Pragha + xfce4-soundmenu-plugin works just fine.

Still wonder, if there is manual, how to compile from git-repositories under Gentoo. I cloned and unpacked playercontrol, but didnt manage to compile it.
