[Solved] is there a way to give the focus to a splash screen in gtk?

Hello,

I have a python-gtk application which runs on a touchscreen computer in a splash screen window. In the window there are some entries and I would like to give the focus on these entries so I can enter text in these with a keyboard. This only works now when I make the window a normal window and not a splash screen. I've also tried the program on gnome and there it works..

Thanks for your help

Hi,
We solved the problem: we replaced the splashscreen by a fullscreen (since the idea was to cover anyway whole screen) and now the window can grab focus again :-)
